798 Art District (Chinese: 798艺术区; pinyin: 798 Yìshùqū), or Dashanzi Art District, is a 50-year old decommissioned military factory buildings with unique architectural style. Located in Chaoyang District of Beijing, that houses a thriving artistic community. Since the beginning of 2000, 798 has become a centre for art galleries, artists's ateliers and contemporary arts exhibitions. The buildings are within alleys number 2 and 4 on Jiǔxiānqiáo Lù (酒仙桥路), south of the Dàshānziqiáo flyover (大山子桥).
