Smartphones are an essential tool of Chinese ordinary life. Everywhere in China, people use them to take pictures to share online, to talk and chat, to play videogames, to get access to the mainstream information, to get connected one each other. In the country where the main global social media are forbidden - Facebook, Twitter and Youtube are not available -, local social networks such as WeChat have a wide spread all over the citizens. The effect is an ordinary and apparently compulsive way to get easy access to digital technology and modern way of communication. <br />
